A survey is where most mould problems should start, particularly when the cause isn’t obvious or previous attempts to deal with it haven’t worked. Our surveyors assess the whole picture — moisture patterns, ventilation, cold bridging, existing leaks, and everyday condensation risks — rather than just looking at the visible mould itself, because treating the mould without addressing what’s feeding it rarely holds.

Every survey is recorded with practical evidence: photographs, moisture readings, and where useful, thermal imaging to pick up cold spots and damp that isn’t yet visible on the surface. We explain the likely cause in plain English, not survey jargon, so you understand what’s actually going on before deciding what to do about it.

The output is a clear report with recommendations — what needs to happen, in what order, and whether further testing (such as air or surface sampling) or repairs to the building fabric are needed before or alongside remediation. If the survey shows the issue is minor or can be resolved without a full remediation job, we’ll say so.
